The Lakewood Ranch Community Emergency Response Team (LWR CERT) is a 501c3 nonprofit, volunteer organization dedicated to helping create a safer, more prepared, and resilient community. Our trained members support their neighbors during emergencies and disasters until professional responders are available.

LWR CERT provides community education, emergency preparedness training, and opportunities for residents to develop practical skills in disaster response, fire safety, basic medical operations, search and rescue, and team organization. Working in partnership with local agencies and community organizations, we promote preparedness, strengthen neighborhood connections, and encourage residents to take an active role in community safety.

Our mission is simple: Neighbors Helping Neighbors when it matters most.
